I woke up the other day and there was a definite chill in the room. The crisp, cool air had come in our window during the night. Here we stand on the edge of another cold and flu season. And that "new" kid on the block, Covid, is lurking out there waiting to infect unwary victims. But we are not to fear for as 1 Timothy 1:7 says: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Thankfully we serve a God who really cares about His people and has placed upon this earth herbs that can be wonderfully healing. They can be used in many different ways, such as natural cough syrups, flu bombs, antibiotic sandwiches, poultices, teas and tinctures.
I recently attended a health seminar at which natural remedies were the topic of the meeting. It was a real blessing and I'd like to share it with you here.
In this life, health challenges are thrown at us day in and day out and we sometimes begin to grow weary. We must have faith and press on toward eternity. The following text was shared many times at this seminar and I think I will commit it to memory:
Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
